How this works

We synthesise each switch sound using the Web Audio API — no audio files needed. Oscillator frequency, waveform shape, and noise bursts are tuned to approximate the real acoustic signature of each Cherry MX switch.

Linear switches use smooth sine waves. Tactile switches add a triangle-wave bump. Clicky switches overlay a noise burst on a square wave for that sharp metallic click.
